Let me join to say, " adieu " to a Dynamic Person...

Just now I saw the photo of Mr.Eric Case with a face aglow with friendliness.

To love and to be loved is life is all about.

To help ever and hurt never,

To wish good health to oneself and all,

To take care of hygiene about and around oneself,

To have a sense of humour expressed whenever and wherever common

sense permits,

To honour a human being whose goodness should not be doubted unless

otherwise proved,

To hope for Peace to prevail across the globe,

Let these be the candles you hold along your life-journey.

This post I publish to say "adieu" to that dynamic person whom I

saw in the photo.

Towards Global Citizenship.

" Reach more, research more, travel less; navigate across the world wide web towards enlightened Global Citizenship "

What is GC?

Our consciousness is self-empowered to expand in any direction into any domain.

It is capable of designing and structuring suitable means and medium to accomplish

what is clearly chartered by its innate wisdom.

The Commonwealth of Learning has its targetted task of Wikieducator 2015 across the
globe.

Politically defined citizenship is limited to a given geographical area.

Global Citizenship transends such limitations and requires to be defined differently.

Culture-centric approach which focuses on being human globally unerringly aims at

globally acceptable Global Citizenship. This is precisely attempted by me at

The Eye of the Rshi.

Rshi, a Vedic term, means the seer.

A seer is a Sage. A Sage is a seer, a person of cosmic vision.

Vedic Astrology is called the Eye of the Vedas.

Each Vedic discipline, like Astrology, has a configuration of Cosmic Consciousness.

It is this configuration which is the eye-opener of the learner.

A Rishi is called Guru because the Eye of the Rishi opens the inner eye of the learner.

A Rishi is called an Acharya because of the conduct in keeping with the Vedic discipline.

Towards the Third Eye.

Eating for survival, Sleep, fear and act of propagation are common features of all living beings.

Viveka, the ability to distinguish right and wrong, good and bad, true and false, real and unreal, pairs of opposites, contrasts, the freedom and ability of choice, is exclusively the human characteristic which makes the difference between animal and human.

The Vedic System of Education gives prime importance to cultivation of Viveka through various programmes.

Living with the teacher is the first step after getting accepted as a disciple.

The Third Eye of 360degree.

Seeing the world the way the Lord sees is the way of Third Eye.

The Lord is all eyes. Our eyes are lit in the light of His eyes.

The Lord is all ears. Our ears are sounded in the silence of His ears.

His unseen Hands lead us from darkness to light.

Our hearts ever abide in His Heart.

Here the image mode of the active memory matters much to the Spirit.

Interconnectivity and Interdependence.

No Man is an Island.

Yes. It is an eternal and universal truth.

But it is necessary to choose enduring and sacred connections.

What is pleasant need not be always good. What is really good need not be popular.

It is the heart supported by enlightened conscience which identifies the good.

Seek company of the good. Pray for it. It will click.

Inter connectivity and interdependence are two sides of the same coin.

The subtler, the more pervasive.

One inside the other is not the same as one interior to the other.

Water inside the bottle is not the same as ice cube inside water. The Vedic fivefold personality of the human being can be comprehended with the help of Vedic definition of subtlety and pervasiveness.

The subtler the principle the more pervasive it will be.

The spiritual interior of the gross physical body reveals, one after the other, the four levels with which the sense of I is identified. These levels are progressively subtle in nature and characteristics.

The human identity is the outer most and the spiritual IDENSITY is the inner most. It pervades all.

God alone can reveal God's idensity.

The Vedic Pattern of Personality.

There are different versions of personality perspectives according to various traditions of Spiritual Science. The Vedic Vision reveals five progressively subtle domains of microcosmic existence. The fivefold domains are further classified into three bodies.

The Panchakosas, as they are named, have i)gross energy sheath ii)vital energy sheath iii)mind energy sheath iv)thought energy sheath v)bliss energy sheath.

The Sanskrit terms are translated here for the specific purpose of creating the context in which they are used here.

The three bodies are i) gross physical ii) subtle vital iii) casual bliss.

There are Vedic Chants which address these sheaths and click the ions to run the cleaners to refine them.

The Dynamics of Cosmic Consolidation.

The DCC codes are concealed in the Vedas. The microcosm is an extension of the macrocosm. Hence the Vedic precept, what is here is that which is there.

This is neither easy nor difficult. It is simple. And yet it cannot be over simplified.

One has to live in harmony at all levels of existence and expression, which is called UPASANA, experiential learning.

It has to come from the parents and the teacher. At home and in the school there should not be any discord of any kind which disables the process of internalizing the values and meanings of culture.

The Vedic Pattern of Personality is called Panchakosha, the fivefold layers of energy resources.

The Vertical Dimensions of Sanskrit Language.

The script of any language usually takes horizontal arrangement of its units. Sanskrit is an exception.

Before going to the details of Sanskrit, just take a close look at the page of any language script. Is it not true that though the lines are horizontally arranged, the movement of the reading takes top-to-bottom vertical direction! Any other movement would cause suffocation and immobility to the reader's mind.

The diagrammatic representation given on this page needs deeper meditative reading wherein the image mode of memory should be allowed to take over.

Then it is possible to comprehend the meaning of Deva Bhasha.

Iconography of Life Energy: Sanskrit.

A modern Sage (Late)Sri Rangamahaguru brought out for the first time, this drawing to depict the Nature Script of AUM/OM within the human womb.

This physical posture within the womb facilitates the baby to be in touch with Cosmic Consciousness. The moment it is pushed out of the womb it loses the contact due to the alterations in the configuration of posture and psychic gesture.

The Garbhopanishat, a Vedic text contains a few details about the pre-natal preoccupations of the soul within the womb.

The first post-natal sacrament to be carefully performed by the father of the child is to re-activate the AUM/OM in the earthly memory of the baby.

This can be successfully performed only by one who is aware of its configuration.

Hari Om.

Language : A Source of Life Energy.

Apart from being a social tool of communication language plays a vital role as the medium of culture transfer.

The strength of the culture depends upon the Universal Truths it contains.

The strength of Indian culture can be conveyed in three Sanskrit terms, viz., i) SAT which means that which remains changeless amidst changes, and from this the desire for living ever arises. ii) CHIT which means that which is capable of all knowledge, and from this the desire for knowledge arises. iii) ANANDA which means the fullness of essential, innate happiness, and from this the desire for happiness arises.

The Vedic Sage Patanjali is referred to in three contexts of learning Ayurveda, Yoga and Sanskrit Grammar.

All Vedic Disciplines of Learning yield the fruits only through the mode of direct experiential learning. Then alone they will link the learner to the cosmic sources of Life Energy. Sanskrit is such a medium.

Life Energy Resources.

There are two modes of memory, i) image mode,
and ii) language mode.

Devotional Literature in the Indian Spiritual Tradition facilitates activation of both modes in various combinations.

The category of MANASA PUJA, mental worship is full of image mode sequences interspersed with aesthetic appreciations, spirituo-erotic insights, philosophical flights and pure devotion which is refinement of all emotions.

Manasa Puja is an integral part of UPASANA, experiential learning.

There are isolated but bold attempts to rediscover the Life Energy Resources, among which the Herbs are very vital.

The Siddha Discipline deals with the system approach of the Siddhas, the accomplished ones.

A rare link who belongs to the trail of fourteen generations of experiential learning of this discipline is given here for the benefit of sincere seekers.

Universal Sources of Life Energy.

Mere scientific temperament is not enough in the research and applications of Spiritual Resources. Spiritual means pertaining to the SPIRIT and not the MATTER. Curiosity and enquiry in the realm of matter lead to the discovery of the Laws governing matter. But these cannot lead one to the Light of Spirit.

It takes devotion, faith and aspiration to gain proper direction and guidance towards the domain of Spirit.

Devotion, faith and aspiration towards the Higher Nature are culturally inherited spiritual values. The extrovert advancement of civilization usually tends to conceal these values or cast a veil upon the inner instrument. This prevents spiritual progress of the generation. But the evolved souls will find their way out and get recovered from the onslaughts of "modern civilization".

This does not mean that civilization is detrimental to spiritual progress. If civilization is properly oriented through cultural literacy, certainly it will subserve the spiritual goal.

The Sun and the Moon are, when spiritually perceived, universal sources of Life Energy.
The sister blog Research in Tantra Proper deals with the ways of contacting these sources.

Who protects whom?

Dear reader,
Tantra means expansion and protection. In the last post we saw that. Now the question is 'who protects whom?'
Whose responsibility is it?
Sri Shankara, the Master of Advaita touches the heart of Divine Mother by telling Her that he knows only one thing. And that is to obey Her which means alleviation of all troublesome burden.
Then?
It is the Acharya who wrote the great text on Tantra titled Prapanchasaram tells this. It is a text which prescribes various disciplines to pursue what he said, "follow Her".
Divine Mother is attracted only by true devotion. True devotion manifests only in the purified heart of the refined devotee. All genuine efforts of a seeker of divine grace are protected. It is karma raksha. The Lord is not only the protector of the devotee, but also the security guard of actions, the fruits there of and enjoyment of the fruit of action.
Is it required to put extra effort for self-protection? Should a devotee use Tantra for protection?
Only the degree of maturity of one's devotion should help find the answer.
Who protects whom?
For one whose thought is always logged in to the Heart of the Lord everything is taken care of. Right action at the right time is prompted by the Lord. The Tantra of Bhagavatam confirms this with living examples.
Why not make use of the ONE THOUSAND FREE PASSWORDS to log in to the HEART of the Lord?

Awake, arise....

Arise, awake or Awake, arise...which is the proper sequence?

Experience is the best teacher. Do we get up and then wake up? Never. Getting up is a physical activity, whereas waking up is at a deeper level which is directly associated with the inner instruments of life which are variously called subtle body, astral body and the like.

To witness the sun rise the minimum requirement is being present and be wide awake where viewing of sun rise is possible. Similarly to observe the process of waking up of the mind and other faculties the minimum requirement is to be wide awake just before it happens. Vow! Boggling!!

Something more.

Any idea about how does sleep occur? Sleeping is not an action. It is a state of experience which is different from waking and dreaming. To become conscious of the process of waking there is a way, and that is to become conscious of the process of sleep. The lesser the gap between waking up and getting up the greater will be the mastery over the process.

Sign up another blog and join the group to interact, to wake up. It is tagged to this blog and is titled Research in Tantra Proper.

How to act from our energy?

There are three types of acts, broadly speaking. They are impulsive acts, deliberate acts and spontaneous acts. How to recognize them? The dog barking is an example of impulsive act. That it does not deliberate upon barking is evident from its behaviour as a dog, always. It does not change the pattern deliberately. It does not have the fear of being immoral because it does not have acquired code of morality. It always acts from its animal energy with fight-flight responses. It cannot become human-like spontaneously.

At a lower level the animals display spontaneity in most of their acts which do not have human intervention or participation.

The plants, birds and animals except human wake up and get up almost simultaneously. What about us?

They have direct contact with sun, the source of energy throughout during the day. What about us?

Becoming deliberate about all acts is the beginning of being human. But this demands enlightened self-conscience. Animals cannot have it as they do not have this human competancy.' What next?' be the quest. Await the next blog-post.....

"Today we can live a week, a month, even a year without smelling a tree, seeing the passage of moon, or meeting an animal in the wild." How true it is!

And yet we do not feel that it is UN-natural life, because we have become UN-natural almost beyond recovery. Any attempt to go 'spiritual' would be futile and fruitless without conducting a properly guided self-audit of thoughts, words and deeds.

We have to unlearn a lot and DE-civilize ourselves before we can venture to sign up to enter the domain of spiritual resources to come in contact with our Higher Nature. There are modern wise men who have declared " I am in recovery from Modern Civilization ".

We have to look for Nature-based culture, daily practices which conduce higher knowledge which strengthen confidence and reinforce faith.

We have to reawaken our senses to perceive the Pra-pancha(the world of fivefold sense life)without the interference of our ideas which are programmed by our acquired likes and dislikes and innate animal instincts.

To act from our spiritual energy it is necessary to sign up the inner net of being, world and God.

Do what is necessary and then what is possible. The seemingly impossible will manifest at its Will on its own.

Sign up, hasten slowly.

The crying baby gets its mother's milk. When the right breast is emptied, Mother Nature keeps the mother's left breast ready. A spiritually hungry person's prayer immediately gets registered in the Cosmic Mind. The burning aspiration invokes the divine response instantly. But it depends upon the intensity felt at the bottom of the heart.

At a deeper level of spiritual pursuit, seekers across the world have a common experience and that is a strong inner evidence of being taken care of. Nothing happens reduntantly. Faith is the higher instinct of the soul which is activated by and sustained through prayer. It provides the necessary tools to log into the Lord's Heart.

The songs of the birds, the whistling of the breeze, the mowing of the cows...all that is natural are recognized as the hymns of praise of the glories of the Lord by a devotee's heart into which the Lord has chosen to log in.

The Heart to heart dialogue at zero distance between the Lord and the devotee some times manifests as the words of adoration.

The Devotional Literature in the Indian Spiritual Tradition in all the Indian languages do have the common element of the dialogue mode explicitly or implicitly.

Oh! Mother, there can be a spoiled child. But, never a spoiled mother!

Equipped to disable or enable?

Peace alone leads to prosperity and progress. Material progress need not always lead to peace. A progress which loses sight of peace is mere advancement and it usually opens up negative directions to proceed towards damnation unwittingly.

It is high time for those who have concern about global peace to search for the hidden icons of peace at all levels of existence.

At the micro individual level these icons can be tickled to display themselves on the dashboard of consciousness through self-discipline. Without gaining mastery over the micro system it is just impossible to get access to the cosmic net work of corresponding icons which enable activation of cosmic forces.'For what?' is to be thought of later.

Interesting is it?

Peace is not built brick by brick. Peace is not something which we arrive at as an end product or a terminal. It is the eternal domain from where we get clicked out by our errors of taste and errors of judgement. When the condusive conditions prevail the domain presents itself. That is all.

Every moment of pleasure, when other pop ups are blocked, gives a gestalt of the peace domain and it does not last long. The pop ups take the mind for a long ride of waste and exhaustion. Rarely and far between we get clicked back to momentary repose in peace. Really we do not know, how?

Are we equipped to disable or enable?

The bell for the Cat.

The inherited culture of a people decides and determines what goes into the calendar and map. To clarify, the calendar ought to reveal what its younger generation should know and the elder generation should recall. The annual festivals, special days, and the like only cover the socio-political aspects of history and identity. What about the cultural elements which also include spiritually significant observations(ceremonies, sacraments and vows)?

An impartial survey of calendars in vogue would be really rewarding endeavour. The chanting of the daily calendar page as per the Vedic tradition is a spiritually healthy practice. It contains certain astronomical references and multidisciplinary information relevant to the individual's place and pursuits in daily life. This practice is called Panchanga Pathanam(chanting of five limbs).

Think globally. Act locally. This modern key to enlightened living is surpassed only by the Vedic Sage's precept, 'cosmocentric thought and geocentric action'. The no error zone of such thought and action is arrived at by the Sages through Upasana(experiential learning)and Prayoga(performance research).

Just as high technology is necessary to make tapping and refining the natural resources possible, a culture specific living methodology is required to comprehend the systems of values and meanings of a given living culture. The inner strength of a culture lies in its ability to empower the individual to resist indifference and to resolve conflicts in the wake of new challenges.

It is at this juncture SRD gathers immense value by initiating concept up gradation of HRD and TQM through proper and adequate Vidhanam(socio-friendly and system-effective practical manual). This is and ought to be the ongoing programme of inter generational culture transfer. Mend the cat to allow the bell!

Resourcefulness:WWWWWWW.....

Being good at finding ways and means to deal with difficult situations is taken to be resourcefulness. In two words,it is practical ability. In a word, cleverness. The fables and folk stories across the world communicate this meaning very effectively.
Without resources resourcefulness cannot be.What are resources? The context determines the content. There are natural resources and human resources. In what way these are different? Human stands out distinctly because it is the only self-conscious resource capable of intervening the processes of the Nature.Human responsibility of self-management is to be given top priority for obvious reasons.
Man can not only make or mar himself but also perpetuate the effects in the surroundings in both positive and negative ways.

You cannot pluck a flower without shaking a star(in the sky)! Everything is interconnected.Life is interconnectivity indeed.Man has gone a long way to 'WWW' the world without. But what about the world within? Let us find out the 'WWWW' possibilities. In other words, the inner connectivity of man, world and God.This brings another W and that is WISDOM.Spiritual Resources Devolopment is all about the applications of this 'WWWWW',world wide web wisdom within! This is not typing made easy manual.

The KEY to this web lies in a language which is embedded in the vertical structure of the subtle body of every human being. This language has four levels of manifestation as clearly hinted in the most refined cultural record of humanity, the VEDAS.
It takes reaching the centre of thought and touching the heart of this cultural record to gather invaluable know-how to tap the life energy resources which can assure a matching grant from the Higher Nature to make life on earth heavenly.

Let us add two more 'W's to the link, the will to work to find the way. Will you?

More about 360degree.

360 can be a page number referred to.It can be the number of an Article of the Constitution of a nation. It can be a technical code used in a given branch of study. In short, the context determines its value, meaning, place and content.
Has the number 360 any spiritual significance? Is number just a referential frame?
Let us begin with a circle. It has 360 degrees.Multiplied by 60 it contains 21600 units which is a very significant number in the classical texts of Yoga Discipline.
The Vedic time unit ghati equals 24 minutes.60 ghatis come to 24 hours.
1 ghati is further divided into 60 palas.
1pala contains 60 vipalas.
Hence,60X60X60=21600.A healthy human being breathes 21600 times a day.
Breath is Life.100 years of life span of a human being numerically expressed is 21600X360X100.So what?
36000 major psychic chanels conduct subtle energies to the left side of the body and 36000 major psychic chanels, to the right side. Thus 72000 chanels function day and night to keep life going. Now we come to comprehend the reason behind 72 major melodies in Indian classical music. The Vedic calculus is very intricate and sophesticated.By regular practice on can intuit the interplay of 360 and 108 in daily life at the individual micro level and at the cosmic macro level.
To coordinate the rhythm of time and space and to remain in harmony with the powers of the Higher Nature, the Vedic Sages pray as follows.
Oh!Lord,
I prostrate Thee from above, from below, from the sides, from all angles, from within and from without, and yet,I cannot do all these simultaneously.I have my limitations, whereas You are limitless. My eyes follow directions, but You are all EYES everywhere!

Being more human

Towards the Higher Nature and Greater Truth

Living itself is a series of Sacraments. Life manifests through ceremonies like the ripping of a seed beneath the soil, cracking of the egg shell, the throbbing wings of the butterfly on the petals holding umbrella to pollination….the list endlessly goes on. Nothing takes place redundantly. But the civilized man has learnt to stand out and become an outsider to the sacraments of living initiated by Mother Nature. Centre for SRD (CSRD) initiates the unlearning so that it becomes possible to be an insider who participates in the sacramental ceremonies of living.

Man alone drinks even when not feeling thirsty, eat even when not feeling hungry. Man alone goes dating and mating for the sake of pleasure while denying the functions of cosmic laws which govern eating and mating. To eat is human, digesting is Divine. Release of forces and generation of energy follow these activities. If they are partially blocked or denied the inevitable consequences follow. One has to live in fear and exhaustion. Then how the forces are to be redirected for another purpose than for which the activities are meant? How the energy can be reinvested for achieving the goals of the Higher Nature?

The experiential learning programme of CSRD has gained a definite direction towards achieving those goals. But what are the goals?

A close observation of the behaviour of the animal kingdom would reveal the specific species behaviour pattern has inviolable certainty. What about human behaviour? Man alone is the most uncertain animal whose behaviour is not consistent. Hence, it is unpredictable. Perhaps, man alone has the freedom of choice to resist the primitive animal impulses and deliberately follow a refined pattern of behaviour dictated by the enlightened conscience. ‘I am a human being ‘ is not the complete truth. ‘ I am a human being and not merely an animal’ is the greater truth. Higher the aspirations, greater is the goal.

CSRD seeks the traditional approaches and disciplines which facilitate fulfillment of the goals of the Higher Nature in 360 degree.

Let us live a hundred years

"Let us live in joy a hundred years",the Vedic Sages re-affirm as they heard from their ancestors.A hundred years mean many things to them.To begin with, one year consists of 360 days of the Vedic Calendar.A hundred years, in other words, are 36000 days and nights.A healthy human body is designed by Mother Nature in such a way to witness and withstand as many as 1000 Full Moons and more!
The biorythemic cycles of the human body are set in harmony with the cosmic phenomina which include solar and lunar astro-episodes,movements and events besides the other planetary interactions with Mother Earth. The Energy Grids which feed and sustain a living being ,as revealed to the Sages, are encoded in the plants, creepers, trees and grains which are identified by the Centre for SRD(CSRD) as EG5,EG7,EG9 and so on.
Living means living interrelated to the the things and beings around in an unimaginably intricate manner.A human being is born with the complete programme of interconnectivity to everything on the Earth and above which makes existence and survival possible and pleasurable. The human bio-affinity towards herbs, animals, birds, and so on can be identified and activated through proper and adequate means which form one of the areas of SRD performance research.
Let us live a hundred years in "thousand bonds of delight".So be it.

Taste and Tongue

Slogan for the day on the classroom wall of an undergraduate college goes like this:"We want English, but not the English taste".

It is an instance of irrepressible native taste in an inevitable foreign tongue. The above demand and the denial by implication voice an identity which is at once accomodative and assertive . It is the vibrant voice of a culture which has the inner strength to sustain itself and maintain its gravity inspite of the impact of dark centuries of suffocation.

What is at the core of this identity? It has to have a different density. In the twenty first century, inspite of sweaping globalization there is a culture which has the innate streangth to throw up such a thought.

The intense feeling of immense profundity of "I" which arises in the realization of the spiritual density of cosmic existence is at the core of this culture. I would name it idensity. It is an identity with a different density.

The movement of "I" from identity to idensity is the process of expansion of consciousness. It encompasses 360 degree of resourcefulness, i.e., SRD.

What is 'spiritual'?

Looking and seeing are not the same.Hearing and listening are not the same.Touching and feeling are not the same.Smelling and sensing are not the same.Eating and tasting are not the same. One is physical, the other is spiritual. The ability to comprehend the difference between the two is there in every human being.
What is intangible need not be mere mathematical abstraction.Take for example,LOVE.
What is it? Some say that love is blind. Then how come love at first sight? Some say 'fallen in love'!Is it not true that "the marriage of true minds" is made in Heaven? Is it not true that love is the rising ground of true man and true woman?
Grammatically speaking,love is a noun,a verb,an adjective,an adverb,and something more...

The above depiction reveals the direction of SRD and the process too.

Total Quality Management Oath

Total Quality Management (TQM) Oath

Oh Lord! I understand that Quality
is no more an idea and that It is a Quantum.
I pray for the mature awareness of its importance
in my personal life, of its significance
in the dynamic conduct of this institution.

I assure my active participation
in the total quality management of this institution
of which I am an integral, live component.

Oh Lord! I resolve to abstain from any activity
which demands sacrifice of quality
and compromise of discipline.

Oh Lord! I understand the value of quality
and the quality of this value.
May all live up to this Oath.

Oath,Pleadge and Vow.

Oath, Pledge and Vow

Oath is a ‘solemn undertaking to do something’. It is administered in a ceremony held for a specified purpose. The relevant text of oath is read aloud by an elderly person who is senior in experience and position, which is repeated by the person who swears in to the chosen field of profession and /or service. A minister or a doctor is an example. Oath taking is an important ceremony which validates a given vow to pursue the course of chosen action in the society. The Oath empowers the novice/ apprentice to sign in with responsibility and also avail the privileges.

Oath is a mode of intergenerational culture transfer. The text of Oath is traditionally inherited, be it of secular context or of spiritual content. It is perpetuated by the authentic members of the elder generation either by convention or by statutory injunction. Hence it is the collective responsibility of the torch bearers in every field of professional walk of life to emphatically assert oath taking as a mandatory ceremony. As the custom prevails, an oath is sworn in the holy name of God, upon any holy scripture preferred by faith. It makes one feel responsible, accept the morally binding undertaking, and this in effect awakens one’s conscience.

An oath registers a vow along with it. While vow is silent resolve, oath is verbally expressed resolve. Abidance to its requirements makes one an avowed person. Depending upon the intention, an avowed person can be criminal or a teetotaler. The oath acts as the key to self assertion through uncompromising observance of the vow. Therefore, every human being ought to know the significance of Oath and its place in one’s private and public life. Without an oath any personal resolution does not get registered in the mind with desired impact. No impact, no impression; no impression, no stamp of identity. To be unidentified thus denies uniqueness which is the hallmark of every human being. Each individual has to choose what ought to be one’s Oath for various occasions, based on one’s vision and mission in life, rooted in tradition and faith.

An Oath obviously begins always with ‘I’, whereas a pledge can begin with ‘I’ or ‘We’. Oath is more ceremonial and official than pledge. The former requires a platform and the latter can be taken on the ground. Oath is an undertaking to do something. Pledge is an agreement upon understanding. One demands doing mode and the other, being mode. Both are vows indeed.

Oath and pledge help man to be more and more human, an avowed human. They can provide the panacea for the modern disease of moral indifference. They can open the eyes and ears of the soul to gain the vision of life and listen to the mission of EXISTENCE. Let us resolve to live in 'thousand bonds of delight' and do it. So be it, so be it, so be it.

SRD : A new priority area for national progress. Man-making and nation- building form two sides of the same coin, Abhyudaya-Nishreya and Yoga-kshema i.e., over all well being, welfare and progress. While HRD and TQM take care of nation- building, man- making ought to be given its due place. Resource enhancement for product and performance, no doubt, meets the demands of the corporate requirements. But what about making of man as a culturally refined being? What values and meanings constitute the being of man?
SRD – Spiritual Resources Development is an all inclusive concept hitherto not noticed or identified as the answer to the cultural crisis encountered by modern man. Without resolving the present cultural conflicts which are the consequences of globalization it is just impossible to achieve over all well being, welfare, and real progress. Being human is the global responsibility of every human being.
The values and meanings which constitute the being of man as unfolded in the perennial scriptural native wisdom of Bharat, India do provide the much needed material for research and development for man- making. The earliest Vedic lore contains in cryptic form highly technical practices called Vidyas meant for Upasana, experiential learning and Prayoga, performance research. Later these disciplines branched out as Tantra Shastra as available today in the mainstream of Sanatana Vaidika Dharma.
Tantra Vidya is the holistic and integrated discipline based on Tantra Shastra which facilitates expansion of consciousness and protection of the individual who pursues the discipline. It also provides the means to tap and harness the life energy resources to enhance personal effectiveness in all walks of life while pursuing the four Purusharthas, the culturally accepted goals in daily life. However it is a Herculean task to restructure and create a relevant and effective route map to meet the individual needs of modern man who has almost got de-linked from the spiritual resources within and without due to negligence and ignorance.
More than four decades of personal performance research has resulted in mapping out the route to reach the roots of spiritual resources of the inner being. Each individual has to register for performance research individually to get an entry into the cosmic reservoir of life energy resources by fulfilling the requirements of Upasana as laid down in the tradition one belongs to. To facilitate this process a detailed search sheet would be provided by our centre to those who seek guidance for SRD.
